The exact scope of each project will depend on the quotation, service agreement, purchase order, or other written confirmation provided to the customer.
2. How We Use Your Information
All quotations are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. Prices may vary depending on product specifications, quantities, supplier pricing, raw material costs, exchange rates, shipping costs, taxes, duties, and other project requirements.
A quotation does not constitute a final agreement until the applicable terms, pricing, and project requirements have been confirmed.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their products, specifications, quantities, packaging, destination, compliance requirements, and other project details.
Changes to requirements after an order has been confirmed may result in additional costs, production delays, or revised delivery schedules.
4. Supplier & Manufacturer Coordination
We may work with independent manufacturers, suppliers, factories, freight companies, inspection providers, and other third-party service providers.
We assist in selecting, communicating with, and coordinating these parties where applicable. However, third parties remain responsible for their own products, operations, performance, and legal obligations unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Samples & Product Approval
Where samples are requested, customers are responsible for reviewing and approving samples, specifications, materials, colors, dimensions, packaging, and other relevant product details before mass production.
Approval of a sample may be treated as authorization to proceed with production according to the approved specifications.
6. Orders & Production
Production timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Timelines may be affected by factory capacity, material availability, holidays, product complexity, customer changes, logistics disruptions, and other circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate production and communicate significant updates when available.
7. Quality Control & Inspections
Quality inspections are intended to help identify product issues based on agreed inspection criteria. An inspection does not guarantee that every individual unit is free from defects unless a specific 100% inspection service has been agreed upon.
Customers should provide clear quality standards and inspection requirements before inspection takes place.
8. Payments
Payment schedules and accepted payment methods will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or service agreement.
Customers are responsible for making payments by the specified deadlines. Work, production, shipment, or other services may be delayed or suspended when required payments have not been received.
Any bank charges, transaction fees, currency conversion fees, taxes, or similar costs may be charged separately where applicable.
9. Warehousing & Storage
Products stored in our warehouse or a partner facility are subject to the applicable storage terms.
Where complimentary storage is offered, including promotional 60-day free storage, the applicable period and conditions will be confirmed for the relevant service. Storage fees may apply after the complimentary period expires.
Customers are responsible for arranging shipment or providing instructions before applicable storage deadlines.
10. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, carrier schedules, weather, port congestion, inspections, international events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Shipping costs may change before shipment due to freight rates, cargo dimensions, weight, destination, fuel surcharges, or carrier requirements.
Risk, insurance, and delivery responsibilities may be further defined in the applicable quotation or shipping agreement.
11. Customs, Duties & Taxes
Customers are responsible for understanding the import requirements applicable in their destination country.
Unless otherwise agreed, customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, tariffs, permits, certifications, and other government charges are the customer’s responsibility.
We may assist with documentation and customs coordination but cannot guarantee customs approval or exemption from duties, taxes, inspections, or other regulatory requirements.
12. Product Compliance
Customers are responsible for confirming that products comply with the laws, regulations, safety standards, labeling requirements, certifications, intellectual property rules, and import requirements of their intended market.
Where requested, we may assist in coordinating testing, certifications, or compliance documentation, but final legal responsibility remains subject to the terms agreed for the project and applicable law.
13. Intellectual Property
Customers must ensure that any trademarks, logos, product designs, packaging, images, patents, copyrighted materials, or other intellectual property supplied to us may legally be used for the requested project.
China Source reserves all rights to its website content, branding, graphics, text, and other proprietary materials unless otherwise stated.
14. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project.
Costs already incurred for supplier deposits, manufacturing, samples, inspections, shipping, customized products, third-party services, or other non-recoverable expenses may not be refundable.
Any applicable refund will be determined according to the specific circumstances and agreed project terms.
15. Confidentiality
We take reasonable measures to protect confidential business information provided during a project.
Where additional confidentiality protection is required, customers may request a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, China Source will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses resulting from the use of our website or services.
Any liability relating to a specific service will be subject to applicable law and any additional terms agreed between China Source and the customer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, war, civil disturbances, epidemics, strikes, transportation disruptions, port closures, supplier disruptions, or major infrastructure failures.
